Position Title:  Cabling Staff

Location:  Atlanta, GA

Jamison Professional Services, Inc. ("JPS") is currently seeking qualified and motivated professionals for the position of Cabling Staff.

Job Description:
 
This position will be responsible for cabling and termination of Cat5, Cat6, fiber and CATV and various other wiring disciplines. The position includes the testing and troubleshooting of wiring problems. Position will also be responsible for running new cabling in new or existing client buildings. Reports and submits weekly status report to telecommunications  team manager.
 
•  Termination and testing of new cabling.
•  Responsible for testing and troubleshooting  of cable.
•  Setting up new telecommunications  frames.
•  Knowledgeable in structured cabling and other advanced technologies
•  Communicates effectively and appropriately when dealing with other City departments and/or personnel at levels up to Commissioner.
•  Demonstrates the initiative and creativity for self-development  within  and  outside  of the company.
 
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
•  BICSI Certified
•  Five (5) year’s experience installing, troubleshooting,  testing  and repairing  copper and fiber optic cabling outlined by the TIAIEIA Standards
•  Certified Panduit, Leviton and Corning installer,
•  Panduit and Belden Certification.

U.S. Citizenship: Must be eligible to work in the United States .

Security Clearance:  Must successfully pass a government level background investigation.
