Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Acquisition Support Specialist.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Acquisition Support 

    The Contractor shall provide assistance, as needed, in support of CSC5 Acquisition Project Managers (PMs) and Contracting Officers (COs).  The Contractor shall provide assistance in a wide and complex range of procurement-related areas and activities including, but not limited to the following: (all of the below are for review, approval and signature by the CO per the inherently Governmental functions and requirements as set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation)   

  • Conduct market research and prepare associated documentation.
  • Prepare draft determination and findings documentation.
  • Prepare draft justifications for other than full and open competition documentation.
  • Prepare draft acquisition plans.
  • Draft requirements/work statements and documentation.
  • Formulate and develop invoicing and expenditure spreadsheets.
  • Prepare draft task order, contract and delivery order documentation and modifications.
  • Research acquisition laws and regulations.
  • Gather reports and accounting information from GSA and Government systems.
  • Gather acquisition/contract history data.
  • Coordinate and assist with procurement reviews between regional CSC5 management, legal, the Small Business Utilization Office, FAS Regional Commissioner, Competition Advocate and other offices as required.
  • Assist CSC5 management with:
  • Ø pre-award and post-award contract file reviews

    Ø data entry support for FPDS-NG reports for the Government CO to sign and approve

    Ø Electronic Contract File (ECF) compliance/filing/uploading documentation

    Ø comprehensive checklist updates (task/delivery order and contracts)

    Ø filing of CPARS/PPIRS reports in the contract files

  • Prepare option letters, option packages and various other documents needed in contract administration.
  • Provide expert level federal procurement/acquisition advice/insight on various procurements.
  • Assists with a wide spectrum of acquisition data calls, including analysis of Federal Procurement Data System entries and compilation of acquisition metrics, etc

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

B.A. or B.S. degree.
Experience in acquisitions in a Federal Government environment.

Government clearance is a plus
