Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Administrative Assistant in the College Park, MD area.


Job Description:

The contractor will provide project and administrative support that will include but not be limited to the following:

1. Arrange Deputy Director, Front Office, and some other Divisions’ travel, including, but not limited to, making transportation and hotel reservations, constructing an itinerary of meetings and events, providing the Director with travel materials, and processing travel voucher reimbursements. Will need to submit correct documents to meet group travel, conference travel, and internal travel process requirements.

2. Manage Director and Deputy Director’s calendar, including but not limited to, receiving requests for meetings from Director and Deputy Director, and others, coordinating meeting times and locations, ensuring that all meeting participants have the ability to connect to meetings (e.g. conference numbers, google hangout connections, etc). Will work directly with the Director and Deputy Director to prioritize meeting requests, coordinate logistics for complex meetings that have many participants that are geographically dispersed (including accommodating international time zone differences).

3. Act as face of the Front Office - when individuals come to meet with the Director/Deputy Director/Chief of Staff, this individual should have a professional, confident, pleasant manner that reflects positively on the organization. Ensure that the Director and Deputy Director’s meetings begin on time, end on time, and any required materials are submitted and received by the Director and Deputy Director in time for the meeting to be effective.

4. Engage with the greater administrative staff team, ensuring that the Division Chiefs, Branch Chiefs, and others are supported with relevant information about the Director and Deputy Director, the priorities of the office, and schedule/travel details for the Director and Deputy Director.

5. Engage with the greater travel support team as back-up as needed for other divisions.
