Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Contracts Manager.
Job Description:
Specialized Experience: Experience in a Federal Government environment.
Functions:
Provides demonstrated acquisition in one or more specialized areas (e.g. program management, procurement, source selection, system engineering, contract management)
Typically performs under the direction of a Subject Matter Expert I or Project Manager.
Support program offices in formulating requirements and preparing requisite documents for submission to the cognizant contracting activity. Possess knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), government specific regulations, and be current and knowledgeable of acquisition streamlining initiatives and reforms. Understands the uses of the various acquisition approaches, e.g. full and open competition, cost reimbursement and fixed price contracts. Demonstrates good organization and writing skills. Develops documents required for acquisition packages including, statement of work, justifications and determinations.
Requires BS/BA degree in related field (or equivalent) plus approximately 6 years of related experience.
U.S. Citizenship: Must be able to successfully pass a Federal Government level background check.
