Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidate for the position of  Budget/Finance & Administrative Support Assistant
Position currently filled but still taking applications.

TASKS: Contractor employees will support general administrative and budget operations including but not limited to the following key functions:

A. Assist with budget tracking and coordination:

o Using spreadsheets and standardized reports, track transactions against source documents and monitor funds availability including end-of-year spend downs. This work is done in conjunction with government budget analysts that work in a central budget office within PIRO.

o Reconciling purchase card statements, entering financial commitment data in the financial system.

B. Support travel management:

o Coordinates with staff and travel agents in the preparation and processing of travel orders for division personnel and invitational travelers, processing travel vouchers.

C. Meeting support:

o Planning and support on-site or off-site meetings;

D. Aid with financial tracking and payment of invoices: o Monitoring balances of active contracts and processing completed contracts.

o Drafting procurement requests for supplies and services per program direction and preparing ready-request packages for acquisition requests.

E. Property: o Assists with acquisition, receiving, and documentation including annual inventories of property.

F. Maintain calendar: o Maintains senior leadership calendars.

o Schedules/supports resources for various meetings that require coordination with staff to minimize conflicts between schedules

G. Project management support: o Assists Federal employees with ensuring resources are properly utilized in the planning and execution of executive and programmatic tasks and milestones.

o Coordinates flow of written and oral communications between internal managers and constituents.

o Tracks deadlines and assisting management with managing workflows to ensure data calls are completed on time.

QUALIFICATIONS

*Selected individual(s) must have the following minimum qualifications

High School Diploma  and  5+ years of progressively responsible work experience in a related field.

*Preferred experience or background requirements of Contractor personnel:

Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university and 1-3 years of progressively responsible work experience in a related field.

*Government Clearance is a plus
