Computer Literacy-MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
 
Job Description

The work consists of co-managing and supporting Print Production and Data Center Department. The position is a hands on position; candidate is expected to share workload with Manager and subordinates. The ability to support some minor Information Technology needs is a plus. The position requirements include monitoring and transferring data files via VPN/FTP and Windows File Sharing. Processing data files through required stages using various applications (Planet Press, Printable's FusionPro XMPie, Desktop, DataPort, BCC Mail Manager 2010, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.) The ability to process data through work tables, software packages is a definite plus. The ability to proficiently work with various graphic design software packages (InDesign, Publisher, etc.) Providing minimal technical support for PC's Applications. Defining and documenting processes and procedures for the department. Troubleshooting network connectivity. Participating in design review and make recommendations related to integration of technologies and automation of procedures. Must be able to handle pressure in a multi-task environment; customers demand quick turn-around on their projects. Must be an excellent communicator (The ability to translate technical jargon into everyday language for our customers is important). Print Quality Control experience is a must (The ability to maintain and eliminate production errors/waste is crucial) Xerox Digital Press Experience (Xerox Nuvera, Xerox Docucolor 5000, Xerox Versant 800, and Kodak NexPress 2500 specifically)-Creo & Fiery Front ends. Variable Data Print (VDP) Software Experience. Experience in network troubleshooting is desirable. Excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of direct mail marketing and mail management software is crucial.
