Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Business Analyst IV.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides technical knowledge and recommendations within their area of expertise to support the management of projects within a technology portfolio or externally-performed criminal justice or RDT&E activities. Works individually and on teams to advance agency goals and objectives. Provides support for program and grant management and uses technical knowledge to help ensure that science and technology programs stay on track. Specific science and technology portfolios and activities to be supported include criminal justice applied technology and forensic science efforts.

Education: PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering or other technical field.

Specialized Experience: This position requires at least one (1) year of hands-on experience in an operational accredited forensic science laboratory or a laboratory directly related to forensic sciences (e.g., manufacturer of kits or instrumentation used in forensic science practice, or forensic research laboratory), plus an additional four (4) years of experience relevant to the forensic sciences. Experience should include laboratory analysis of forensic samples and/or interpretation of resulting data. Experience with front end crime scene investigation and/or court testimony are preferred but not required.
