Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Court Reporter in the Wappingers Falls, NY area.

The court reporter will be present during witness interviews to record the testimonies of each witness which has been identified as necessary to complete a detailed investigation. All court reporters should have a certification obtained from a recognized certifying organization. – Court Reporter maintain updated copies of any applicable licenses and/or certifications and make available to the Government upon request. - One (1) court reporter shall be required per day. Transcription services may run from a few hours to a few days; shorter or longer depending on the requirements of the investigation or hearing. The Government reserves the right to schedule multiple investigations in a single day. - Record and provide a record of testimony for Administrative Investigation Boards. - Record and provide a record of testimony for other instances the Medical Center Director deems necessary. – Court Reporter shall wear professional attire and shall be clean and neat in appearance. - The Court Reporter shall arrive and depart at times required by the facility. - The Court Reporter shall take breaks in conjunction with the schedule of the investigation board or as set forth in the hearing. – The Court Reporter must demonstrate excellent, polite, communication skills with Veterans and staff. - Due to the nature/sensitivity of investigation, confidentiality is required.
