DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
Jamison Professional Services is seeking qualified professionals to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program. Services include project management, FOIA request processing, records review, document redaction, correspondence preparation, reporting, quality assurance, and administrative support. Personnel will work in accordance with federal FOIA regulations, agency policies, and established performance standards to ensure timely and accurate processing of FOIA requests while protecting sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
Process incoming FOIA requests.
Conduct records searches.
Draft correspondence.
Apply FOIA exemptions under supervision.
Prepare documents for release.
Maintain accurate documentation.
Support monthly reporting requirements.
REQUIRED AND DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Associate degree.
One (1) year of FOIA processing experience within the last 24 months.
Knowledge of FOIA exemptions.
Strong written communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
FOIA training preferred.
Schedule: M-F
Clearance Level Required: Employment is contingent upon successfully completing any required background checks, in accordance with applicable law.
