Description

Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act (FOIA/PA) Coordinator.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Contractor shall provide FOIA and PA coordination services and support to the Region in order to accomplish Program Office goals and responsibilities.  The work involves coordinating and processing of FOIA and PA requests pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act and the Department of Commerce FOIA regulations (NOAA NAO 205-14).  The Contractor shall also ensure consistency with the guidelines and policy requirements of the client, and all other applicable laws.  The work is performed onsite with the following objectives:

  • FOIA/PA administrative processing
  • Facilitate and coordinate FOIA/PA requests with the Division POCs, Headquarters, Regional Offices, and Science Centers.
  • FOIA/PA Data Management and Analysis Processing
  • Monthly Reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of the FOIA and PA statutes, rules, and regulations.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and scheduled action dates.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to administer and coordinate FOIA/PA administrative processes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal skills.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. Government FOIA Online website
