Position: Procurement Analyst II

Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Procurement Analyst II

Job Description:
Duties: Maintains the Purchase Card Administration Team (PCAT) Operations Handbook by updating the Handbook as revisions are received from the PCAT analysts; assists monthly in terminating micro-purchaser’s acquisition authority and purchase card accounts; monitors SmartPay 2 statements and updates the Cycle Reallocation Status Report spreadsheet daily; monitors the progress of approving officials (AO) in completing the review, approval, and closing of cardholder accounts; reports any delinquent AOs (issues advance notices to minimize issuing delinquency notices when due dates are missed); assists in monitoring purchase card refresher training by sending advance notices; performs all other tasks associated with the SSA micro-purchasing training requirements; corrects various spreadsheets and develops new ones as needed, and creates ad hoc reports; processes applications for and terminations of purchase card authority, as well as changes to purchase card holders’ accounts; prepares reports and other materials; reviews documents for accuracy; enters data into electronic repositories;  performs analyses; makes recommendations; prepares award documents and develops supporting data for review and acceptance by Government employees; performs grant close-out functions; reviews grantee reports to ensure accuracy; contacts grantees to obtain necessary documents; completes checklists used to monitor expenditures by grantees; performs other basic duties necessary to support the administration of Government acquisitions, acquisition policy, grants, or a Federal agency’s purchase card program. Performs purchase card Acquisition Management Reviews (AMRs) of micro-purchases; processes  unauthorized commitments discovered during AMRs; researches fiscal topics covered in the Redbook in response to inquiries; performs analyses on data; and runs complex ad hoc purchase card reports from Citibank.

All Contractor personnel assigned under this contract shall have an up-to-date understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation

At least two years acquisition experience with at least one year of that experience carrying out moderately complex tasks related to the administration of Federal Government acquisitions, acquisition policy, grants, or a Federal agency’s purchase card program.
High School Diploma plus at least one semester of completed college-level course work in procurement or business.   

U.S. Citizenship: Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
