Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidate for the position of an Administrative Assistance. 

Selected individual(s) must have the following minimum qualifications:

An associate’s degree and minimum of 3-4 years’ experience related to government administration in a science-oriented program.


Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

The selected individual must have specific knowledge and experience in the following:

  • Knowledge of federal regulations related to time and attendance, travel and other administrative processes.
  • Experience maintaining time and attendance data and records;
  • Experience preparing and submitting travel orders and vouchers;
  • Experience in office management including management of office supplies, duplicating materials;
  • Experience preparing and shipping or mailing items via U.S. Postal Service or overnight delivery carriers;
  • Experience answering and directing incoming calls;
  • Experience filing documents including personnel records;
  • Experience maintaining executive calendar/schedule;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with the government sector;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Additional preferred qualifications include:

Preparing and submitting travel orders and vouchers for foreign and gift/bequest travel.
