Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Receptionist/ Customer Services.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Contractor employee will support customer service and operations, including the following:

  • Represent NMFS as a first point of contact, providing customer service and answering and/or directing questions from the public concerning NOAA's mission and fishery-related issues.
  • Provide information and updates to the public concerning fishery regulations.
  • Assist the Protected Species Coordinator to administer classroom and online workshops for longline fishing vessel captains, owners, and crew members. 
  • Schedule the conference room use during regular hours, and for after-hours with special conditions.
  • Assist the Permits Administrator in distributing and processing permit applications, payments, and data entry into the National Permit System.
  • Help distribute and receive fishing logbooks.
  • Direct questions to proper officials concerning the Observer Program and other programs.
  • Document all customer service activities, including directing phone calls, answering the door for visitors, coordinating conference room use, workshop-related activities, and permit processing.
  • Communicate all Pier 38 operational and facility maintenance issues to SFD and OMI leadership.
  • Conduct related administrative tasks as needed.

Work Schedules: 

  • Work schedule is 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
