DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
The Maintenance worker will support VHA and perform a variety of tasks involved in the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and related structures, fixtures, and utilities. Typical work assignments include the performance of visual examinations and operational tests to determine the need for, and the performance of, repair work on a wide level of difficulty and responsibility of trades shown in the following examples:
- Electrical Worker
- Carpentry Worker
- Sheet Metal Worker
- Asphalt Worker
- Cement Finisher
- Masonry Worker
- Pest Controller
- Roofer
- Painter
- Gardener
- Electrical, Carpentry, or Plumbing Worker
REQUIRED AND DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- High School (HS) or General Equivalency Diploma (GED
- Proven maintenance experience preferred.
- Detailed oriented.
- Physical ability
- Technical ability
- Organizational skills.
- Problem solving ability
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Able to work quickly under pressure.
- Able to work in a team and be willing to adapt to new situations as they arise.

We are seeking candidates available to work onsite at various locations nationwide. This role requires candidates to be available to work in-person at designated sites nationwide.
