Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“Jamison”) is currently seeking a qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Administrative/Budgeting Assistant.
Job Title: Administrative/Budgeting Assistant.
I. Purchasing – Budgeting Assistant
A. Assists Government purchase card holders and approving officials with purchase processes and procedures for the laboratory.
B. Maintains office supplies for the laboratory coordinating restocking and reordering with government representative
C. Assist in budget recording, tracking, and input of various information at the discretion of the Administrative Officer.
II. General Administrative Duties
A. Processes mail utilizing agency meter mailing equipment and UPS/FEDEX automated systems, as well as signing for received mail.
B. Answers the main phone line and directs calls as required.
C. Coordinates and participates in event hosting and functions for the laboratory, greeting visitors and vetting them for valid credentials and citizenship requirements, to include foreign national visitors.
D. Greets all other visitors to the facility and ensures security requirements are met.
E. Prepares and maintains rosters of various types in regards to new and departing staff, ensuring rosters and information is up to date.
F. Supports all staff in general administrative duties and inquiries such as, but not limited to, making copies, records management, processes and procedures, and general administrative issues.
G. Other miscellaneous administrative duties as required.
Education/Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma with five (5) years of administrative/budgeting work experience.
Individual MUST be customer service oriented and present themselves as a professional at all times.
Knowledge of Google Suite products, to include email, drive, calendars, and documents is strongly desired.
Knowledge of the Government purchase card system is desired.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products is desired.
Individual must be adaptive to Government automated systems and processes.
Must have a valid state driver’s license.
Clearance Level Required:
Must be able to pass a Federal Background check.
